Bismillahir rahmanir raheem
Part of being a blogger is reading blogs by other people, for fun and for inspriation. These are just some of the blogs I like to read and are a MUST follow/ subscribe.
Off the back of a random Facebook click one day I just happened to come across The Muslim Girl and I’ve been hooked ever since. I love her Muslim Girl Guides that cover self esteem and friendship. Her designs are clear cut and her brand is beautiful.
My favourite post so far from her is most defintely Muslim Girl Problems: Interacting with the Opposite Gender. Check it out and leave her a comment!
Since discovering the Gilded Duniya, I have loved every minute of following Umm Yusra and little Yusra’s journey into learning more about the Qur’an and having a little fun along the way. Not only is she a fabulous writer, it comes from the heart. So check out my favourite post by Umm Yusra at the Gilded Duniya, An Arranged Love Story… I Mean Marriage.
I’ve been following the Muslim Bricks for a while and even had the pleasure of gift psoting but above all else, I love reading Sister Najmah’s writing. Whether she’s talking about Islam or one of the other topics on her blog, her pieces are short, sweet and to the point. Perfect when you need a blogging pick me up.
I loved her piece on Understanding Patience.
After starting my own blog last year, I discovered Chai with Sahar’s blog after I joining the Muslimah Bloggers Facebook page. I’m a sucker for chai and a good blog so it was just a given that I was going to LOVE her blog.
Her latest blog post ‘Do Women Hate Each Other?‘ was not only entertaining but truthful and to the point. It is an affirmation of the power of sisterhood, not just in Islam but between women in general.
The Positive Muslimah
I’m on a personal journey to become more positive and this blog helps IMMENSELY. It’s so easy to get bogged down in everyday life and forget the blessings Allah swt has bestowed on you. Finding the Positive Muslimah blog was one of the most beneficial things I’ve done since the start of my blogging journey and in honour of that, here’s one of my favourite blogs from the site ‘Be Positive About Life.’
So there are my 5 must follow blogs.
Comment below with your favourite blogs so I can check them out!
